HALI Research Briefs now available for download!

What did Santa leave under the tree for HALI this year? A new Land Rover?

Nope, not even close. Maybe next year.

A National Institutes of Health (NIH) Grant?

Getting closer, but still a bit cold.

How about some amazing new publications from the Global Livestock CRSP?

That’s right.  It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for!  Or at least some of use here at UC Davis.  We’ve just received word from the Global Livestock Collaborative Research Support Program (GL-CRSP), our generous funding agency here at UC Davis, that the first set of HALI Research Briefs have been printed and are available for download.  GL-CRSP  Research Briefs are designed to capture research from GL-CRSP Projects and package it in a short and accessible format suitable for policy-makers, non-governmental organizations, and in general, the non-scientific community.  We’re excited to have these Briefs  describing research generated during our first year in Tanzania.  You can download a copy of the Research Briefs from the GL-CRSP website,  just follow the hyperlinks below…

HALI Research Brief 08-01: Evaluating and Managing Zoonotic Disease Risk in Rural Tanzania

HALI Research Brief 08-02: The Unintended Consequences of Development Assistance

HALI Research Brief 08-03: Innovative Approaches to Evaluate Household Health and Livelihoods in Pastoral and Agro-pastoral Communities
