2010 HALI Calendar: Impacts of Diseases Shared Between People and Animals

In Davis, California and in Iringa, Tanzania, HALI project team members are excited about the new 2010 HALI project calendars: Impacts of Diseases Shared Between People and Animals.

The calendars represent one strategy used by HALI to promote disease education in the Ruaha Landscape of Tanzania.  In Ruaha, calendars are a highly visible media proudly displayed in households and around village kiosks, schools, etc.  The HALI calendars feature images of pastoralists and agro-pastoralists, along with livestock and wildlife, and contain disease education messages targeting improved awareness of disease transmission, prevention, and protection.

Please contact us at the HALI project for more information on the calendars, or to obtain an electronic copy (PDF).
