HALI to launch new project with Livestock-Climate Change CRSP!

Today we learned that the HALI project was selected by the USAID funded Adapting Livestock Systems to Climate Change Collaborative Research Support Program, the LCC CRSP, for a longterm research project in Africa!  The new project, entitled “Strengthening Tanzanian livestock health and pastoralist nutrition and livelihoods in a changing climate” will be a truly interdisciplinary and collaborative venture between the UC Davis Wildlife Health Center, Sokoine University of Agriculture, University of Vermont, the University of New Mexico, Colorado State University, and the Friends of Ruaha Society, a local Tanzania-based environmental education focused NGO.

We’ll post more news and information about the new project after we celebrate.

Hongera sana HALI team, na asanteni sana LCC-CRSP!
