Dr. Tracey Goldstein featured on “Dr. Kiki’s Science Hour”

Watch Dr. Tracey Goldstein, UC Davis Wildlife Health Center’s Director of Laboratory and Technology Development, and Dr. Suzan Murray of the Smithsonian Institute discuss the USAID PREDICT project’s work to develop a global early warning system for emerging pandemics on Dr. Kiki’s Science Hour.  Dr. Goldstein, or Mama Ndogo, as the HALI team calls her, has been leading our efforts to build the wildlife disease diagnostic capacity in Tanzania at the Sokoine University of Agriculture, along with her expert team Brett Smith and Dr. Eva Mertens.  This March, Dr. Mertens will be traveling to Tanzania to work with the HALI lab team and initiate pathogen testing for viral families at our new laboratory in Morogoro.
